My poor bunny, having been in our family a good six weeks now, needs a name. Usually a new pet tells me its name within the first day or so. Peeto was shortened from Pepito (for his chihuahua half? even though he looks more shih tzu), his name before we adopted him. Puppet got her name from the shelter workers but it fit her so well we kept it. Kirby, the cat, was the only kitten of Mini and he made nursing rounds with loud and enthusiastic sucking...thus named after the vacuum. Ernie is poly-dactyl (he has thumbs), like Hemingway's cats in Key West, FL.
Even the guinea pigs told us their names when they were born...Kiss is mostly white kissed with beige-ish stars, Scorch looks like she was burned, Runt was the smallest and Crackhead (aka Crackhore) has a front to back part in the fur on her head.
So. Buns, lil bunny foo foo, she's sooooooo cute! Needs a real name. At first, I was thinking Lizzie, from Queen Elizabeth, since she's an English angora. Or maybe Izzy. And then I was looking up names that mean "soft" on a baby name site. Now, I'm leaning toward Sophie/Sofie because it sounds soft. Or Slipper because it makes me giggle.
Em's bun doesn't have a name yet either. I like Zora, because of the mask. But I'm trying to convince her to name her's Slipper so we'll use both my favorite names.

These poor Buns are going to have identity crisis'.
Miss Bun-Bun!
add: Are you sure of the sexes? We wouldn't want Sophie to turn out to be a Steven, if ya know what I mean =)
Sophie is an awesome name, my daughter's name in fact!
I like Slipper also.
I'm voting for Slipper.
I say you put it to official vote, and we get to name your bunny!
