no, she's NOT taking pictures of my feet

When I took Em to Threadbear back in Sept. for her back-to-school-knitting-in-class sock yarn , she chose some gorgeous Jitterbug in Mardi Gras (a color I talked myself out of buying before she finally settled on it). She kept knitting and frogging, knitting and frogging because she didn't like the way the bright colors were pooling. Finally, I caught her about to frog a nearly finished toe-up Monkey and stopped her. I LOVED everything about them--the pattern, the wide spiraling, the colors (though I'm so not a bright colors person, go figure). She offered to knit the matching sock and give them to me. Good kid.

Anyway, she finished the socks last night, just in time for the Oct. meeting of Spinner's Flock this morning. It was a bit chilly so I slipped my bright happy socks on under my clogs. At the meeting, I showed them off to everyone who'd look. When we got home, I had to take them off because I don't like walking around on carpet in my handknit sock feet (actually, I'm a barefoot heathen who only wears shoes--and socks--when absolutely necessary).
This is what I found...

rainbow feet
So, of course, Em grabbed the camera and dragged me outside. Peter came home expecting dinner preparations but found me lying in the front yard with my feet up on the bench instead.
Uh. Yes. Yes, she WAS taking pics of my feet.
