Lady Eleanor is FINISHED.
It only took me almost two years. Damn, I'm slow. Actually, most of the knitting was done in the first month or so. I just couldn't decide if I wanted to do the fringe. I don't like fringe. But the knotted fringe really makes this wrap. I wasn't sure I had enough yarn for it either. So I knit until I was down to one skein (had 8) and then set it aside while I contemplated the fringe. It wasn't until I recently responded to a Ravelry thread asking about the Lady E. and unattractive back side of entrelac that I realized how sick of typing "I'd like it much better if I ever finished it" I was. Bite the bullet, cut the fringe--JUST FINISH THE DAMN THING ALREADY.
And I did.
And I did.
As yet unblocked, she made her debut at Threadbear's Fall Fling yesterday, where she was oohed and ahhed over by a small group of the elite.
I love her!
I'd made some progress on the Tangled Yoke...
The body is finished and I cast on the sleeves (both at once on two circs) but was interrupted by a couple of other projects, besides Lady E.
I can't show you this one in its entirety because it's a gift...
Shhhhhh...it's easy to guess what it is, but the recipient won't know so please don't give it away in the comments.
Em and I have been working on some Caps for Kids as part of our knitting guild's group project. We both have so much knitting and spinning (and my spindle-making) going on, it's hard to find/take the time to knit hats. Em made sure we got started on this by popping in a movie and insisting we could ONLY knit hats while watching it. We actually knit through two movies, and did two hats each. We went out for more machine-washable yarn and fresh movies (Transformers) this week. Yay for the motivation, Ms Em!

Beautiful stole!! And your Tangled Yoke is going to look awesome!
That is gorgeous!!! You have to wear it to the next guild meeting.
I haven't made any hats yet. All of the ones I've made have been for the kids and me, so I need to get off my butt and get a couple made up. I found some yarn in the stash for a helmet liner, too.
I saw you in the Threadbear newsletter! Congrats!!!! I knew they'd love your spindles!
