She was due on St Patrick's Day. I don't think she's had him yet but I keep forgetting to ask this week.
I also finished Abi's latest sweater. She wore it to school yesterday. I'm not sure I'm happy with it. It's a top down raglan with a button placket and hood that I grafted together from different patterns with a few things pulled out of my head. The hood isn't quite right and the placket should be longer.
I also hate/d the yarn--Paton's Canadiana. I picked stiff little plastic shreds from every. single. inch. of it. Wtf? Since discovering the joy of natural fibers, I can't stand acrylic anyway but that was the worst. I won't use it again.
I'll get a pic later.
I'm currently working on my Project Spectrum project for March. Red socks in Child's First Sock pattern from Knitting Vintage Socks. I am such an idiot sometimes. When I first thumbed through this book, I thought all of the children's socks were actually children's socks. I didn't read to see that many of the patterns were converted to adult socks. I'm much happier with the book now. :-)

I thought that, too, when I first looked through it. Frankly, I wish she'd kept them in children's sizes (or at least had that as an option). There aren't many kid-sized sock patterns out there. Great book, though.
How are you hanging in there? My students are asking for a field trip to Threadbear--wanna come? I'm not sure when it'll be, but it'll be soon.
