Bigfoot's clogs

My son, Alex, complains that I never make him anything. So I made him some clogs...size 13. These are the biggest slippers I've ever seen!

Kai and Abi were quite entertained by the sheer size of them. They fought over the first slipper to wear as a hat so I let them each try one before felting. The big goofs took off outside to show their friends. I grabbed the camera to snap a pic before I made them give 'em back.

Right after I checked it on the viewer, Kai leaned over to kiss Abi on the nose. I caught them just as she reached up to push him away. One of those moments you almost never have a camera in hand and wish you had.

Post-felting. I lost my models to their new bikes so that's my nasty Birk for size comparison. They're still pretty big but not quite so clownish. And they fit Al perfectly. I can't wait to make a pair for me!
