I spent a few hours at the zoo with Kai and Abi on Saturday. We were all three bummed that they don't have the cool animal drink bottles with neck straps anymore. Even though I swore when I bought them that I wouldn't, I ended up carrying two souvenir kid cups around. I was thinking I either need to search for last year's animal bottles or buy them something with a strap. Yeah, you can see where this is going, can't you?
"Wait just a minute," my brain says "why buy something?" I can knit socks. I can knit straps. I can knit some socks with straps! (Dr. Seuss, anyone?) And so that is what I've done today, instead of finishing the pink ribbon socks and starting another pair.
