I didn't put a lot of thought or planning into it. I just squiggled the damp roving to fit the space that was already set up. Then I poured each dye in a row, leaving some white space in between.

I spun it all up on my latest favorite spindle (the 1 oz dark stained flower with the shaft Alex turned) on Monday. Look, I plied it all (except for a bit left on one bobbin) onto the spindle...nearly 4 3/4 ozs!
I had to get a pic of at least some of the eggs...before Graham turned them all into deviled eggs.
all wound up in a neat little cake

I'm dying for an update on your wheel situation; what's the word from Louet?
And I was looking at your shop and saw your radioactive spindle--do you think you could do one with the biohazard symbol on the top, the standard orangey-red and black? I'd love one like that.
I just purchased my first drop spindle and stumbled upon your site (wish I would have found it before I bought one, yours are waaaay cuter).
I'm in love with your yarn too.
Right now, I know zero people that can spin (not even my LYS knows how) and would like to know if you have suggestions on a good place to start.
What a great idea. I wish I had thought of this. I love how the yarn turned out, so pretty.
