knitting while driving
is NOT a safe thing to do. Seriously. I'm not naming names, you know who you are. Those who know and love you...as well as those who've only just begun to know you...want you to put down the needles and replace your knees on the wheel with BOTH hands. Friends don't let friends knit and drive. Take a cab, bring along a designated driver, lock the knitting in the trunk, stay home if you have to. Just stop. Yes, even mindless stockinette. Please.

You worry too much, Mom. I always stay in my lane and far away from other cars. But because you care, I'll not knit in the car unless I'm a passenger.
You *really* do worry too much though.
