Anyway, I couldn't wait to open it...
And then I couldn't wait to open what was inside all the little packages and that lovely bag...
I'm so thrilled! My very first (can you believe I've been knitting more than 30 years and never made myself a scarf?) hand knit scarf is stunning. The yarn is gorgeous (Noro Silk Garden...I love it), the colors perfect and the pattern...uh...kind of weird?
When I originally bought the Manos I parted with for my exchange partner, I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Several months ago, a crafty Sybermom linked to My So Called Scarf and my mind immediately paired the yarn with that pattern. A scarf just for me. But I gave that up because the Manos seemed perfect for my ISE pal.
So. I gifted yarn I loved and in return, was gifted the very same scarf I'd intended to make with it. How cool is that?
The satin bag is perfect for sock projects and my kids are eyeing the fudge. I hid it in my desk drawer for an emergency sugar fix. Haven't smelled the incense yet but it's so cute it made me smile. And the bath stuff looks yummy too.
Thank you so much, M.! You did awesome and really brightened my day.
:-)

I'm glad it finally arrived and that you like everything! It was a pleasure to knit the scarf and put your whole package together!
