While stalking knit bloggers

I envied my Secret Pal's (Hi, Karen! You've been the bestest SP ever and I still need to show the rest of my last package and send you a real thank you. I will get to that, I promise.) wall of yarn in her craft room. I envy all craft rooms. Since I don't have one. Em and I have talked about kicking out a kid or two and stealing their room. Anyone want a kid or two?

Anyway, in that same post, I also drooled over her dinner. And then I noticed she linked to the recipe. I made two for dinner last night. The first had peas instead of broccoli, at Abi's request. The second was as the recipe, only I used sharp cheddar. Oh, and I used fresh cooked chicken breast instead of canned. The twins declared it "ick!" I think it had more to do with the unfamiliarity than the actual taste. Everyone else loved it (Dave ate four pieces, even with the crust being "hit"--his description of things containing trans fats).. The broccoli/sharp cheddar version was the winner between the two. Next time, I'll make two with broccoli and add sliced fresh mushrooms to one.

I skimmed through Stephanie's archives and found this post with the Seamless Yoked Baby Sweater. Of course, I just had to make one.

It needs buttons. I think some pearly pink ones if I can find some. I also want to make a matching hat. Then it'll go out in the mail to a friend.

There was more stalking but I need to finish a couple things and then try to backtrack up the linkland path from where I ended up. I'll be bock!

I'm so glad you liked that recipe. Since I made it that first time, it has become a favorite in my household. Did you name yours? Since the recipe didn't have a name, we call it "chicken wreath"! I loved being your SP! I can't wait to see the things you make :)

Ooh - that recipe looks so easy and delicious.( I didn't even know you could get chicken in a can?! You learn something every day.
The knit is so precious. Good luck finding the perfect buttons.
