Abi's angels

I really liked the angels in My Little Angel socks on pg 29 of Socks, Socks, Socks but not so much the rest of the sock. The pattern was too small for my little angel anyway. So I picked up a ball of the yarn I got on clearance and some #2 DPNs and played around with the angel pattern a bit. Decided the needles were a bit bigger than they needed to be so frogged and started again with #1s. And here's what I came up with...

Of course, the vertical seed stitch and eyelets in the angel skirts would show up better with the sock on. But I don't have a foot model since these will be a Christmas gift for Abi. I love the angels so much, I'm going to make her a sweater--something very soft in either pink or lavender-- with random angels. I'll sew pearl beads on for the heads instead of doing the bobbles.

So much for finishing up all the stuff I already had started.
